Olympus Zuiko 70-300mm Lens Repair

My 70-300mm telephoto lens stopped focusing. It would click and whine, but it would not focus. Since it did me no good broken, I sent it to Olympus for repair. They have a $128.90 flat rate for repair of this lens. It took 2 weeks. I received it today. The service performed was: Replaced main barrel unit, adjustment, clean and check all. I took it out for a spin and it worked great. I like the weight of this lens, even though it is not as sharp as the 50-200 SWD lens. It's a lot easier to lug around and takes decent pictures.
