Using a LED Head Lamp as Macro Light

I am always looking for ways to light up my macro subjects. I recently saw a 12 Led headlamp at the local Walgreen's. The cost was only $5.99. I thought this might somehow be adapted to the camera for a little bit of extra light for macros. I was able to use the existing elastic band that came with the light to attach it to the camera. The angle of the light is adjustable so you can aim it at the subject. It doesn't add a tremendous amount of light, but it does make a difference. Sometimes the difference can be between getting a shot or not. I'll add this to my bag until I get a ring flash.
